Brick Apartments #5

After I built the Hawkins Art Gallery, I was still on a old.. downtown building.. kick and ended up deleting the boring town square in Hidden Springs and making 6 more brick buildings on 5 lots.. all of them apartment buildings.

Apartment Information:
20 x 20 lot at 11 Juniper Lane, Hidden Springs
4 apartments
4 parking spaces

Apartment Description:
This cute little 3 story walk up as quaint little apartments for busy little bees.

  • Views are of the town, lake, and small park out in the middle of all the buildings.
  • Floor 0 is the basement with gym/game room and laundry for residents.
  • Floor 1 contains two apartments. Flat 1 is an economy 1 bed/bath with a tiny patio, flat 2 is a slightly larger economy 1 bed/bath with a tiny yard.
  • Floor 2 contains apartment 3, a 2 bed/bath.
  • Floor 3 contains apartment 4, a 2 bed/bath.
  • Outside, there’s a bit of a view of the lake and of the surrounding town and central park as well as each floor (apartment) having its own small balcony or patio.
  • Notes:
    +
Built from scratch. I don’t currently have anything that truly makes this an apartment, I just wanted it to seem like one for now. There are separate ‘families’ living here, locked out of the flats they’re not supposed to be in.
+ I should’ve put a hall between apartments 1 and 2 that had a door leading to better access to the central park. Oh well. Done. Jiggered some stuff around.

Brick Apartments #4

After I built the Hawkins Art Gallery, I was still on a old.. downtown building.. kick and ended up deleting the boring town square in Hidden Springs and making 6 more brick buildings on 5 lots.. all of them apartment buildings.

Apartment Information:
20 x 41 lot at 59 Subalpine Boulevard, Hidden Springs
8 apartments
7 parking spaces

Apartment Description:
These two four floor walk-ups are great for a few families who enjoy town living but need a little outdoor space (via balconies).

  • Views are of the town, lake, and small park out in the middle of all the buildings.
  • Building One (white):
Floors one and two both have 2 bed, 2 bath flats.
Floor three has a 2 bed, 1.5 bath flat.
Floor four has a 3 bed, 2 bath flat.
  • Building Two (brown):
    Floors one, three, and four
have 1 bed, 1.5 bath flats.
    Floor two
    has a 1 bed, 1 bath flat.
  • Outside, there’s a little bit of green space between the buildings and each floor (apartment) has its own small balcony.
  • Notes:
+Built from scratch. I don’t currently have anything that truly makes this an apartment, I just wanted it to seem like one for now. There’s a family of 8 or 9 living on it, each ‘family’ is locked out of the apartments that aren’t theirs. Post build, for some reason I made all of the residents of building 2 all tall skinny models somewhat themed to their respective apartments (which allowed me to use some hair/clothing i rarely get a good chance to use). The ones of building 1 are mostly just randomized.
+ These are two buildings on one lot. The white building’s apartments are rather bland but the brown building’s apartments have had a little more thought put into their decor.
+ I also just realised the inside of the white brick building consists mostly of shades of brown and the brown building’s interior is mostly white.
+ Kinda wishing I’d kept the Native American inspired furniture bedecked apartment’s floors white like the rest for more cohesiveness.

20 x 20 lot at 14 Diopside Lane, Hidden Springs
3 apartments
3 parking spaces

Apartment Description:
This grey-brown and blue brick three floor walk-up has room for three families and features open concept living areas.

  • Views are of the town, lake, and small park out in the middle of all the buildings.
  • Floor one is a 2 bed 2 bath flat.
  • Floor two is a 3 bed, 1.5 (I need to make the 1/2 a full.) bath flat.
  • Floor three is a 3 bed, 2 bath flat.
  • Outside near the parking spaces is a small sitting area.
  • Notes: Built from scratch. I don’t currently have anything that truly makes this an apartment, I just wanted it to seem like one for now. I feel as though I should retake outside screenshots.

Brick Apartments #2

After I built the Hawkins Art Gallery, I was still on a old.. downtown building.. kick and ended up deleting the boring town square in Hidden Springs and making 6 more brick buildings on 5 lots.. all of them apartment buildings. The first couple could probably use a bit more design indoors. The layouts are choppier, too.

Apartment Information:
20 x 20 lot at 12 Diopside Lane, Hidden Springs
3 apartments
4 parking spaces

Apartment Description:
This red and grey brick 3 (4?) floor walk-up has room for three families.

  • Views are of the town, lake, and small park out in the middle of all the buildings.
  • Floors one and two each have one apartment. Apt 1 is a 1 bed 1.5 bath, apt 2 is a 2 bed 1.5 bath, each with varying amounts of kitchen/living/dining space.
  • Floors three and four are one 2 bed 2 bath apartment with ample living/kitchen/dining spaces. The entrance is on floor three.
  • Outside, near the parking spaces, there is a small table. There’s recycling bins near the driveway and laundry in a small room behind the stairs of the main floor foyer.
  • Notes:
Built from scratch. I don’t currently have anything that truly makes this an apartment, I just wanted it to seem like one for now. I feel as though I should retake outside screenshots. The surroundings look so empty compared to how it actually is right now. lol

Brick Apartments #1

After I built the Hawkins Art Gallery, I was still on a kick and ended up deleting the boring town square in Hidden Springs and making 6 more brick buildings on 5 lots.. all of them apartment buildings. The first couple could probably use a bit more design indoors. The layouts are choppier, too.

Apartment Information:
20 x 20 lot at 10 Diopside Lane, Hidden Springs
3 apartments
3 parking spaces

Apartment Description:
This small peachy brick apartment has room for three couples, each who hopefully don’t need much space.

  • Views are of the town, lake, and small park in the middle of all the buildings.
  • Floors one through three each have one apartment. Each is a 1 bed, 1.5 bath with varying amounts of living/dining/kitchen space.
  • Outside, in front of the parking spaces, there is a grill and a small table. There’s recycling bins near the driveway and laundry in the section of building that supports the second floor.
  • Notes:
Built from scratch. My least favorite.  I don’t currently have anything that truly makes this an apartment, I just wanted it to seem like one for now.
