Beryl Shoals Now Downloadable!

Kaitlyn asked for this one to be downloadable a while back, but things have been hectic around here and there’s been very little down time to do anything fun. Sorry for the wait and any hiccups there may be. There’s not a ton of CC for this one aside from store/expansion stuff. Everything I could remember is listed along with some little detail about it so you can decide whether you really need it. I’m sure I’ve probably forgotten some. Remember that Beryl Shoals is an uncharted island, and as such has to be discovered.

Hope this works. I’ve never done this before, so bear with me.

House Information & Description:
This large mansion is home to the Coates family, affluent islanders ready to party.

  • Price: $? furnished / $? unfurnished (will fill in later)
  • Address: 15 Dolphin Lane
  • Size: 60×60
  • Rooms: 4 bed, 5 full/2 half bath, cinema, game room, formal dining, office, gym, laundry
  • Parking: 4 car garage, tons of parking in driveway.
  • Views out the windows show the landscaped yards, the ocean in the distance, and the surrounding neighborhood and hills.
  • On the first floor there’s a big foyer with ceiling leading to third floor. On the right are a therapist’s home office with waiting room and half. Straight ahead is the formal living room. To the left is the large kitchen with breakfast nook and sitting area. It has a hallway down to the in-house cinema room and is adjacent to the enclosed formal dining room.
  • On the second floor is a long hallway and an opening to downstairs. Looking at the stairs, to the left is the home gym. To the right is a long hallway with the two boys, Benny’s and Chase’s suites, which contain a small foyer, bedroom and full bath. Further is a small library and a tiny closet. Next is Yasmin’s suite with foyer, bedroom, full bath, and dressing room. At the end of the hall is the kid’s game room.
  • On the third floor is a hallway area with an opening to downstairs. The first door is to Loren and Joanne’s master suite with dressing room, full bath, and bedroom with seating areas in it. The second door is to the laundry room.
  • Inside the garage there’s space for 4 cars. The garage also houses the pool house, a two story section of the garage containing a foosball table downstairs and a sitting area and massage table upstairs.
  • Outside there is a big circle drive out front leading to the 3 car garage. In back, there’s a good sized yard, a fountain, a gigantic party area with huge pool (with its own island), an in-pool bar, a firepit, a big covered outdoor kitchen, lounge area, and outdoor living room w/ fireplace. There’s also a big pen for two dogs.
  • Loren: A/M, father, ceo somewhere
  • Joanne: A/F, mother, therapist (no real profession just pretending)
  • Yasmin: YA/F, child of both, spoiled elder kid of the family
  • Benny: YA/M, child of both, high achiever and student
  • Chase: YA/M, child of both, rebellious slacker

Notes:

  • This house is built completely from scratch. It was hard work but fun and I’m really pleased with it.
  • This house makes my already bogged down game run SO SLOW or I would probably have a gigantic party back here and lock all the doors so everyone had to enjoy the huge backyard.
  • If I do that, I should put a bathroom in the first floor of the pool house. I should do that anyway for convenience. No one wants to run through nearly the entire first floor and most of the second floor of an air conditioned house dripping with pool water to change or pee.
  • This house has a lot of little closets where odd spots ended up from building from the outside in. I should probably make one in the sharp corner between the dining room and breakfast nook.
  • The things on either side of the media center in the cinema are a fridge and a cabinet for snacks. The bookshelf is pretending to be a DVD shelf.
  • I love building multi-story openings but they’re a pain to photograph. I’m also not sure why the second story foyer windows decided halfway through that they didn’t want to display properly anymore.
  • I didn’t mean for Yasmin’s suite to be so much bigger than the boy’s but since it is I decided she’s just spoiled. Maybe she’s actually the oldest.
  • This family had a collie named Carpenter but because I accidentally walked away with autonomy off, I came back to everyone red and Carpenter taken away. 😦 I couldn’t readopt him for a while so I was going to cheat and take him in on another family then transfer him back to the Coates..es.. but I felt like the nice old couple I put him with would appreciate him more, probably.
